Hymn Festival: The Spirit of Transformation
Friday, November 16, 2018
Co-Sponsored by the Akron AGO (American Guild of Organists) and Cleveland Chapters
In the Small Catechism, Martin Luther wrote: "…the Holy Spirit calls, gathers, enlightens, and sanctifies the whole Christian Church on earth." Gathered by the Spirit of God, we will sing together of God's ongoing forming and re-forming in lives, in hearts, in community. Gathered by the Spirit of God, we will enter into that holy place where word and melody, voice and heart, create a space for encounter, for beauty, for newness.
