Who are we?
We love God, and we offer ourselves back to Him in praise and thanksgiving. Our worship is based on the liturgy of the church that involves gathering and confession, word and learning, and meal and sending.
As a liturgical church, music is an integral part of our worship. We gather in a beautiful, century-old sanctuary and are blessed with an historic, 4,551 pipe Berghaus Organ. For special celebrations, we incorporate our bell choir, brass ensemble, adult choir, and other guest musicians.
Holy Trinity is located at 50 N. Prospect Street, across from Akron’s Grace Park. We are handicap accessible.
What should I expect at Holy Trinity?
We gather in person or online each Sunday for worship at 9:30 a.m. When you join us in person, you can expect to be warmly welcomed by our friendly ushers. You will be shown where the Sanctuary is located and be given a worship bulletin that is easy to follow. Our worship leaders come around before worship to greet folks as well. Following the service, we gather in the Chapel Lounge for fellowship and refreshments, and we invite you to join us!
When you join us online, you can expect the same warm welcome from our technology ushers and commentary throughout the service. You are encouraged to download the worship bulletin from our website. And, you can logon early to view special messages and announcements about what is up and coming at Holy Trinity.
What about my kids?
Children of all ages are welcomed and encouraged to be a part of the worship experience. But in the event a child needs a break, there is a children’s and adult lounge area in the Scharf Library that is down the hall from the Sanctuary (an usher can show you). And don’t worry about missing worship because you can watch the live stream while your child enjoys a break.
Do you have weekday services or options?
The church office is staffed and open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday. You can access the office via the marked entrance from the church parking lot. To meet with staff outside of these, please contact them directly. Click here for the staff directory.

We also offer a variety of interest, faith formation, and service opportunities (in-person and online) just about every day of every week through which you can connect with God and others! Click here to learn more.
