This resource is a collection of God’s promises of love, hope, and encouragement as we seek to live out our faith both individually and in the community. Passages are from the NRSV translation, and some verses have been edited for inclusivity. As the foundation for our lives as Christians, the words of Scripture are meant to build upon. While only a few verses are shared at a time, we know that scripture does not stand alone—it is always a part of a larger context. When needed, feel free to expand on the context of passages or give them in a more complete setting.
