God’s Work Our Hands Sunday: September 8
School Supplies Kits for Lutheran World Relief
This year we will be partnering with Faith Lutheran Church in Fairlawn to collect supplies and assemble school kits to be donated to Lutheran World Relief as part of our God’s Work Our Hands observation on Sunday, September 8th.
Items we need to collect over the course of the summer are: 70-sheet notebooks, 30-centimeter rulers, rulers with centimeters on one edge and inches on the other, pencil sharpeners, blunt scissors, unsharpened pencils, black or blue ballpoint pens, boxes of 16 or 24 crayons, and 2.5 inch block erasers.
These items can be placed in the marked bin in the hallway by Room 202.
Lutheran World Relief cannot use items decorated with: religious symbols, messages, US flags, patriotic or military symbols, references to the armed services, or camouflage. Please contact Rachel Nunez with questions. Thank you in advance for your generosity in donating these items! †
